Competitive, based on experience ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a School Psychologist for a high school in Oxford, CT. This contract opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and experienced professional who enjoys working directly with students while providing both counseling services and comprehensive evaluations . The school is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and is open to considering qualified candidates interested in a hybrid schedule . Responsibilities Provide school-based psychological services to high school students Manage a counseling caseload of approximately 10 students on a weekly or biweekly basis Conduct and complete approximately 28 student evaluations throughout the school year Assess students academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs Provide appropriate recommendations and interventions based on evaluation results Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the student support team Participate in IEP meetings and contribute psychological expertise to student programming Maintain accurate evaluation and student records Support students academic, social, and emotional development Qualifications Valid Connecticut School Psychologist certification/license Previous school-based experience preferred Experience conducting student evaluations Counseling experience, particularly with high school students, preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently Hybrid candidates are welcome to apply Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan options Ongoing support from ProCare Therapy Professional development opportunities This is a great opportunity for a School Psychologist to join a supportive high school environment in Oxford, CT while providing meaningful counseling and evaluation services to students.
