Licensed Psychologist - ADHD, Autism and Psychological Testing Journey Psychiatry & Behavioral Health - Center for ADHD Trinity/New Port Richey, Florida Part-Time W-2 | Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time Help Us Build the Next Chapter of Journey Journey Psychiatry & Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Florida-licensed psychologist to help develop and lead our expanding psychological-testing services. The primary focus of this position will be conducting comprehensive ADHD and autism evaluations for children, adolescents and adults. The psychologist may also offer additional psychological evaluations based on their training, interests and professional competency. This is not simply an opportunity to join another group practice. The Opportunity The selected psychologist will help Journey establish a comprehensive psychological-testing program centered on ADHD and autism while helping determine which additional testing services we develop.

Potential additional services may include:

Diagnostic-clarification evaluations Cognitive and intellectual testing Learning and academic evaluations Emotional and behavioral assessments Personality testing Pre-surgical or treatment-readiness evaluations Other psychological assessments within the clinician's training and scope of practice The psychologist may also maintain a limited psychotherapy caseload if desired. The position will begin part-time and may grow into a full-time role as testing referrals and patient demand increase. The selected clinician will have a genuine voice in developing the program's workflows, assessment offerings and clinical standards. Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive ADHD and autism evaluations Evaluate children, adolescents and adults based on training and competency Complete diagnostic interviews, record reviews and collateral interviews Select, administer, score and interpret appropriate psychological instruments Differentiate ADHD and autism from anxiety, depression, trauma, learning disorders and other clinical presentations Conduct additional psychological evaluations within the psychologist's training and scope Prepare clear, clinically useful and timely written reports Conduct diagnostic-feedback appointments with patients and families Provide evidence-based treatment, school and workplace recommendations Collaborate with Journey's psychiatric providers, therapists and care-coordination team Help develop efficient, ethical and evidence-based psychological-testing workflows Provide psychotherapy based on clinical interests and availability, if desired Preferred Experience ADHD evaluations across the lifespan Autism evaluations involving children, adolescents and/or adults Cognitive, developmental, academic, emotional and executive-function assessment Diagnostic clarification for complex or overlapping clinical presentations Experience with instruments such as the ADOS-2, WAIS, WISC, WIAT, Conners, BASC, Vineland and other appropriate assessment measures Differential diagnosis involving ADHD, autism, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and learning concerns Communicating evaluation findings to patients, parents, schools and referring clinicians Working collaboratively with psychiatric and therapy professionals Applicants do not need to be trained in every instrument or assessment category listed. However, they must demonstrate strong psychological-assessment competency and practice within the boundaries of their education, training and experience.
