Job Summary Join a growing neuropsychology-driven brain wellness practice with established referral relationships and immediate opportunity to build a psychotherapy caseload working with adults and older adults. This position offers flexible scheduling with the potential to transition into a full-time role as demand grows. Requirements Valid, unrestricted Florida licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist with active state credentials. Graduate degree from a CSWE-accredited (social work), CACREP-accredited (counseling), or APA-accredited (psychology) program Minimum 2 years post-licensure outpatient psychotherapy experience Demonstrated experience working with adult and older adult populations as a primary clinical focus Demonstrated experience with dementia or cognitive decline, chronic or complex medical conditions, caregiver support, grief, or adjustment to neurocognitive conditions Demonstrated ability to work with adults and older adults experiencing adjustment related to cognitive changes, complex or chronic medical conditions, grief, life transitions, and caregiver stress. Training and competency in evidence-based modalities — CBT, mindfulness-based interventions, ACT Strong interpersonal skills with a passion in compassionate care. Commitment to ethical practice under HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines; proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation and data collection. CBT-I training preferred Currently located in Florida and available to work in person at our Ponte Vedra Beach office Strongly preferred: CBT-I training or certification Experience in integrated behavioral health, medical, or neuropsychology-adjacent settings Comfort working with family systems and caregiver dynamics alongside the identified patient Familiarity with Medicare populations and documentation standards This role is not the right fit if: Your primary clinical background is pediatric, adolescent, or young adult populations You require a full-time position immediately You are seeking a high-volume telehealth caseload You have not worked directly with older adults or medically complex patients Duties Provide evidence-based individual psychotherapy to adults and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, adjustment to medical concerns, cognitive changes, caregiver stress, grief, and life transitions Complete timely clinical documentation consistent with ethical, legal, and professional standards, notes are expected within 24 hours of session Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical guidelines; monitor progress through outcome measures Collaborate with our neuropsychologist on shared patients to ensure continuity of care Participate in the development of brain wellness, caregiver support, and dementia prevention initiatives as the practice expands Compensation W-2 employment Compensation per session Rate varies by licensure level, psychologist rate differs from master's level clinician rate Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing high-quality care rooted in evidence-based practices!
