Job Description

Job Overview Lartey Wellness Group is seeking a dedicated Psychology Associate to join our growing outpatient mental health practice as a 1099 Independent Contractor . This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Associate seeking to provide psychotherapy services while receiving clinical supervision and building their clinical experience across a diverse outpatient population. The Psychology Associate will work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families and provide services in both in-person and telehealth settings. This is a hybrid position requiring at least four (4) days of in-person services at our Laurel, Maryland office and one (1) day of virtual/telehealth services each week. About Lartey Wellness Group Lartey Wellness Group is a growing outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health services across Maryland. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our clinical team and currently seeking Psychology Associates who are interested in providing quality, client-centered care in a supportive clinical environment. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity offering flexible scheduling, professional development, clinical supervision, and opportunities to build a consistent caseload. Position Summary The Psychology Associate will provide psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families while receiving clinical supervision from a Licensed Psychologist Supervisor. The Psychology Associate will provide evidence-based, client-centered care while working within the scope of their Maryland credential and applicable supervision requirements. This position requires a hybrid schedule consisting of at least four (4) days per week of in-person clinical services at our Laurel, MD office and one (1) day of virtual/telehealth services each week. Responsibilities Provide psychotherapy services in both in-person and telehealth settings. Provide services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation accurately and on time. Deliver ethical, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care. Participate in required clinical supervision. Maintain compliance with Maryland Board supervision requirements. Establish and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients. Collaborate with clinical leadership and other members of the care team to support quality client outcomes. Maintain professional and ethical standards of care. Qualifications & Requirements Active Maryland Psychology Associate license. Eligible to provide clinical services under required supervision. Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related behavioral health field, as applicable to Maryland licensure requirements. Strong clinical documentation and communication skills. Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth services. Able to work a hybrid schedule consisting of at least four (4) in-office days per week at our Laurel office and one (1) virtual/telehealth day each week. Available to work required evening hours and weekend appointments as needed. Comfortable providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is preferred. Schedule Requirements This is a part-time position .
The position requires:
At least 4 days per week: In-person services at our Laurel, MD office 1 day per week: Virtual/telehealth services Availability for evening hours, approximately 3:00 PM-8:00 PM Availability for Saturday or Sunday appointments as needed Please apply only if you are comfortable with and available for this hybrid schedule. Compensation Psychology Associate $70.00 per intake session $60.00 per therapy session 1099 Independent Contractor $200 paid onboarding/training Clinical supervision provided in accordance with Maryland Board requirements Rates apply to both in-person and virtual sessions.
