Licensed Psychologist
  • Child and Adolescent Specialty Summary:
  • Licensed Psychologist with expertise in children, adolescents, and/or young adults
  • Full-time or part-time
  • Salary range: $90,000 to $160,000 depending on experience and role
  • Start date is immediate, but flexible for the right candidate.
  • Experience providing CBT and/or DBT The Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, an established group psychology private practice in East Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a Licensed Psychologist with expertise working with children and adolescents.

Our services include cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and neuropsychological testing. We also partner with schools and organizations to provide consultations, professional development workshops, and clinical services. Job Description for Licensed Psychologist Position
  • Provide evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults within your areas of clinical expertise. Our practice serves clients with a range of concerns, including anxiety and OCD, ADHD and challenging behavior, autism, school refusal, depression, suicidality, mood dysregulation, ARFID, Tourette syndrome, and BFRBs.
  • Provide parent guidance and collaborate with schools as appropriate.
  • Expand your clinical specialties through ongoing training, consultation, and mentorship.
  • Opportunities to work with adults, provide school consultation, and present workshops to professionals and community members, based on your interests
  • Opportunities to supervise trainees and take on leadership roles based on your experience and interest. Qualifications Required
  • Doctoral degree in clinical or school psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • Licensed Psychologist in New Jersey by start date
  • Experience providing evidence-based care using CBT and/or DBT
  • A passion for working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented approach, with an interest in developing a clinical niche within the practice and working alongside experienced psychologists with diverse areas of expertise. Preferred
  • Completion of a child and adolescent focused post-doctoral fellowship.
  • CBT specialty: Specialized training in parent child interaction therapy (PCIT), parent management training (PMT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), or comprehensive behavior intervention for tics (CBIT)
  • DBT specialty: Formal DBT training (Linehan certification is a plus). Benefits and Employment Details
