DESCRIPTION:

ACCESS Family Care is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide school-based therapy services to high school students in Joplin MO School District. This is a full-time salaried position with a 9.5-month work schedule that mirrors the public-school calendar. A generous benefits package is offered for the entire calendar year. The provider in this position will perform the following duties: Develop relationships and work collaboratively with high school teachers, school counselors, and administrative staff. Complete diagnostic intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for high school students, consistent with evidence-based practices. Provide mental health therapy and behavioral health services for high school students, designed to promote personal growth consistent with their treatment plans. Educate high school students and their parents/guardians regarding their diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and therapeutic process. Working in a public school setting is challenging and rewarding. This position requires a Missouri license (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, PLPC, LMFT) and a master's degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution. Supervision toward independent licensure is available at no cost to provisionally licensed providers. This position will exclusively cover grades 9-12 in the Southwest Missouri School Districts. Due to the nature of the position, working remotely is not supported. Daily travel to the school will be required.
