Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where your expertise as a School Psychologist supports students from Pre-K through 8th grade in a supportive educational environment near Bolingbrook, IL. This contract role offers the chance to make a lasting impact while collaborating with dedicated professionals committed to student growth and well-being. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the additional flexibility to work from home one day each week. With openings available across various grade levels, you'll have the chance to tailor your skills to the age group best suited to your background and interests. What you'll bring: Valid credentials as a School Psychologist Experience leading and scheduling eligibility meetings Proficiency in MTSS problem-solving Strong abilities in screening, consultation, and implementation of evaluation and intervention strategies Demonstrated leadership as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic team Effective communication skills for engaging with staff, students, and families Key responsibilities: Schedule and lead eligibility meetings and initial student evaluations Perform comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and implement intervention plans Work collaboratively with other professionals to support a robust MTSS process Assume a leadership role within the diagnostic team Consult with teachers and families to foster student success Take advantage of this unique opportunity to provide vital services that directly impact student development and educational experiences.
