Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist skilled in telehealth services, supporting students within an educational setting. This role involves providing psychological assessments, consultations, and interventions remotely to assist in addressing students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting virtual psychological evaluations and assessments to identify learning and behavioral challenges. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Delivering telehealth counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being. Maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards. Staying informed of best practices and latest developments in school psychology and telehealth.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist. Demonstrated experience providing psychological services via telehealth platforms. Strong knowledge of educational psychology principles and special education laws. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple cases efficiently.
