Customer Service Representative
Job Description
Inside Sales / Customer Account Specialist responsible for managing customer accounts, quotations, order entry, sales support, delivery tracking, and technical product recommendations within an industrial environment. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 4+ years of experience in sales, customer service, technical sales, purchasing, or a related commercial environment. Industrial industry experience. Experience with order entry and data entry in ERP systems. Experience preparing product and service quotations. Experience managing customer orders, delivery dates, tracking information, and expedite requests. Experience generating, reviewing, and analyzing sales activity reports. Technical knowledge or aptitude related to industrial products. Experience supporting sales activities within assigned customer accounts or territories. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree. Distribution industry experience. Inside sales experience. Technical sales experience. Experience supporting outside sales representatives. Experience with pricing analysis and competitive market pricing. Experience identifying and developing sales prospects. Experience with lead follow-up and account development. Experience recommending complementary products and solutions. Job Responsibilities Manage customer accounts from quotation through order fulfillment. Communicate expected delivery dates, tracking information, and order status. Process and manage expedite requests. Support on-time delivery and quality performance requirements. Prepare quotations for products and services. Recommend products based on customer requirements. Review competitive pricing, inventory availability, and sales initiatives when preparing quotations. Enter and maintain customer orders in ERP systems. Support outside sales activities for assigned customer accounts. Identify prospects within assigned territories. Perform outbound follow-up on new sales leads. Identify customer requirements and recommend applicable products or services. Upsell complementary products and solutions. Track industry trends that may impact customer requirements and sales activity. Generate and analyze reports related to customer orders, quotations, and sales activity. Promote applicable customer incentives aligned with sales initiatives. Maintain technical product knowledge through ongoing product training. Support internal requests related to customer orders, pricing, delivery, and product information.
Pay:
