Plaza Psychology and Psychiatry is a large private practice in northern Rhode Island that serves a diverse community in terms of socio-economic status, ethnicity and diagnosis. We have always operated on the principle that you do your best work when you set things up your own way. You figure out how much you want to work and where you'd like to focus, and we'll provide the other stuff: office space, reception, supplies, benefits, billing, marketing, EHR, et cetera. We're seeking a clinician to offer individual therapy, and we have capacity for couples and family therapy as well. We have great relationships with many referral sources, including local physicians and clinics, which give us a steady stream of referrals. We're looking for someone who is reliable, skilled, and independent, but who also wants to support colleagues and help maintain the collaborative atmosphere we currently have. We have optional peer supervision and opportunities to collaborate, including with our many medication providers. We're currently hiring for our Woonsocket office, and most of our referrals are in-person, so we'd expect a new therapist to be in the office most or all of the time. We also need a commitment of a minimum of 16 hours a week (but full-time is available). And we'd prefer someone with an interest in working with children at least some of the time. Salary is competitive and is a percentage of the total revenue you bring in, so you make as much as you want depending on your workload.
