Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students ages 321 as a School Psychologist for the 202627 school year. Flexible scheduling is availableboth part-time and full-time candidates will be considered, although full-time is preferred. Begin as soon as possible, with the position extending through June 2027. Leverage your expertise to make a real difference: conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments, contribute to the development and monitoring of IEPs, and determine student eligibility for critical services. Provide vital counseling and behavioral support, consulting with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student. In this role, youll help develop and implement intervention plans and strategies, offer crisis support, monitor progress, and participate in ongoing data collection and consultation activitiesall tailored to the specific needs of your assigned school or program.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Active Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403) Proven ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to varying school environments Strong skills in conducting assessments and developing individualized plans Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a student-focused mindset Youll enjoy the chance to work with a network of skilled professionals dedicated to student well-being.
