School Psychologist (Psych II) —

Elementary/Preschool Support Employment Type:

Colorado River BOCES Assignment Dates:

August 3, 2026 - May 25, 2027

Schedule:

37.5 Hours per Week | 5 Days per

Week Setting:

Elementary Schools or Preschool Center (Split between 2 elementary schools or 1 preschool site) Position Overview Colorado River BOCES is seeking a qualified School Psychologist (Psych II level) to support either elementary or preschool-aged students. This role will involve working across school sites to provide evaluation, consultation, and intervention support within a collaborative school-based team model. Caseload Approximately 50 students Elementary or preschool-aged population Assignment across 2 elementary schools or 1 preschool center Responsibilities Actively participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Provide consultation services to staff and school teams Support student evaluation and intervention planning processes Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state requirements Qualifications Must hold Psychologist II (Psych II) licensure or equivalent eligibility Experience working in school-based settings preferred Knowledge of MTSS, FBAs, and BIP development required Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills Position Details Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday through Friday schedule School-year assignment from August 3, 2026 to May 25, 2027 Split-site assignment or single preschool center placement Application Information Interested candidates should submit a resume and relevant licensure credentials for consideration. #p34
