Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing critical behavioral and mental health services in a school setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for a School Psychologist with a passion for trauma-informed practices and expertise supporting students with significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Focus on early intervention, data-driven decision making, and meaningful collaboration with families, administrators, and teachers to create supportive pathways for student success.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Valid School Psychologist credential Strong background in behavioral counseling and assessment Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Excellent consultation skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Expertise in trauma-informed care and crisis response Participation in IEP and Section 504 processes

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide individual and small-group counseling to students with intensive needs Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations Complete FBAs and support the creation, implementation, and monitoring of BIPs Contribute to MTSS implementation and collaborate with classroom staff Attend IEP and Section 504 meetings to share expertise and recommendations Participate in crisis response teams and help develop safety plans Develop transition plans to support successful student reintegration into home schools Record and utilize data to inform student progress and adjust interventions as needed This full-time, 37.5-hour per week position offers the rewarding opportunity to work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and foster positive change in students' academic and behavioral outcomes.
