Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid credentials or eligibility for state certification as a School Psychologist Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills Experience with individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education processes Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and parents Adept at managing caseloads efficiently and with sensitivity Prior K-12 school experience preferred
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess students cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development using standardized tools and interviews Collaborate with intervention teams to design, implement, and monitor strategies for student success Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insight and advocating for student needs Provide individual and group counseling for students dealing with behavioral, social, or academic issues Consult with teachers and staff to create positive learning environments and address behavioral challenges Maintain thorough records and ensure timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements Engage with families to support student growth both academically and emotionally This role offers a chance to employ best practices and innovative approaches, making a genuine difference every day.
