Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students in a diverse educational environment. You'll contribute your expertise by serving multiple campuses, collaborating with educators, and fostering academic, emotional, and behavioral growth for students. Flexible arrangements are available, including both on-site and VOCO options, allowing you to tailor your work setting to your strengths and preferences.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active Tennessee Psychologist license Experience with K-12 populations in school settings Ability to effectively manage varied caseloads and adapt to itinerant (multi-site) structure Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention for both elementary and high school populations Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for multidisciplinary teams Provide direct and consultative psychological services that promote student learning, well-being, and inclusion Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and support as needed across assigned school locations Travel between schools within the district (for itinerant assignments) Option to request preference for elementary-only or mixed elementary/high school caseloads
