9559470-37083 Job Description Make an impact as a School Psychologist working within a vibrant, county-wide school system serving K-12th grade students near Lafayette, TN! As a valued contract professional, youll provide essential psychological services that support student achievement and foster positive learning environments. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8am-3pm, allowing you to maintain excellent work-life balance while connecting with students and staff across multiple campuses.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for TN, or eligibility to obtain Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field Previous experience working with K-12th grade students, preferably in school settings Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns Analyze assessment data and develop individualized recommendations for learning strategies and interventions Collaborate with teachers and administrators to design effective support and intervention plans Participate in IEP, eligibility, and student support team meetings throughout the county Assist in crisis prevention and response, offering expertise in behavioral and social-emotional interventions Promote positive mental health by delivering workshops, consultations, or direct services as needed This opportunity allows you to build meaningful relationships with students and educators, broaden your professional skills, and contribute to the overall well-being of an entire countys school community.
