Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist in a contract position spanning multiple academic years. This role begins as soon as possible and continues through May 2027. You'll work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to help students succeed both academically and emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Tennessee School Psychologist license (required) Experience with K-12 student populations Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills Flexibility to work across multiple school sites (itinerant) Comfortable with technology and open to virtual service delivery if preferred (VOCO/teletherapy option available) Ability to build rapport with diverse student, teacher, and parent groups
Your Responsibilities:
Provide psychological services including assessments, eligibility determinations, intervention recommendations, and counseling Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and student support plans Assist teachers and families in developing strategies to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Travel between assigned school sites for service delivery (mileage may be applicable) Maintain thorough documentation in line with district and state requirements Support both elementary and high school caseloads, or focus exclusively on elementary populations (preference considered) Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities As part of this position, you can tailor your experience based on caseload preference and enjoy the flexibility of choosing from onsite or virtual assignments.
