Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role involves supporting students and educators by delivering essential psychological services within a school-based setting. Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Texas School Psychologist credential/licensure (license documentation required upon submission) Prior in-school or district-based experience as a School Psychologist Availability for full-time, onsite work (37.5 hours per week); hybrid flexibility considered for report writing only Ability to provide a redacted report sample as part of the application Secured, reliable transportation for daily commute Willingness and ability to complete required district fingerprinting within the first three days of contract signing
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments in accordance with district guidelines Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster students' emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development Provide evidence-based counseling and targeted interventions Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans Accurately maintain student records and prepare thorough evaluation reports Participate in team meetings, professional development, and compliance activities as required Assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will go through the end of May 2027.
