PSYCHOLOGIST - VA DISABILITY EVALUATIONS OVERVIEW
Frontera Search Partners is seeking a licensed psychologist to perform in-person behavioral health Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations for Veterans in El Paso, Texas. This is an evaluation-only role; there is no treatment, therapy, prescribing, follow-up care, or ongoing patient management.

1 day per week Employment type: Part-time Patient volume: 3-6 Veterans per day
Pay:
$800 per day
OFFICE, RESIDENCE, AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
You do not need to own or provide an office or clinic space. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, Texas and must be able to reliably commute to and work onsite at the assigned clinic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review service treatment records and relevant medical history. Conduct in-person behavioral health Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations. Administer and interpret psychological assessments as required. Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and provide medical opinions when requested. Document objective clinical findings in the required secure electronic system. Complete and submit all required examination reports within established timelines. Follow all VA examination protocols, documentation standards, and quality requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). Active, unrestricted Texas psychologist license in good standing. Qualified to perform behavioral health evaluations. Ability to work independently and meet documentation deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous VA or Compensation & Pension (C&P) examination experience. Experience performing disability evaluations or independent medical examinations (IMEs).
