Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in an educational environment as a contract School Psychologist. Located near Irving, TX, this opportunity allows you to collaborate closely with a team of educators and families, ensuring students receive the guidance and resources needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In this role, your expertise will help identify learning needs, provide valuable assessments, and be a positive resource for students, teachers, and parents.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist Experience performing psychoeducational assessments and participating on multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and organizational abilities Commitment to culturally responsive practices Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for teachers and families Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning and behavior Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to support students educational and mental health needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to 504 and special education plans Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed Maintain accurate, confidential student records in compliance with regulations Deliver professional development and guidance to school staff on a range of student wellness topics Bring your expertise to a role where every day offers the chance to make a lasting difference.
