Qualifications:
Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist Experience with psychological assessment, intervention planning, and counseling in an educational setting Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative school environment Commitment to culturally responsive practices Prior experience in K-12 settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret evaluation results for eligibility and intervention planning Develop and present clear, comprehensive reports to teachers, staff, and families Participate in multidisciplinary teams for Individualized Education Program (IEP) development Provide student-centered counseling services (individual and group) Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on academic and behavioral interventions Support the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Assist in crisis intervention and the development of prevention programs Advocate for the needs of all students and promote a positive learning environment Embark on a contract assignment where your professional impact can positively shape student learning and well-being.
