As a school psychologist in a dynamic educational setting, youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. Youll play an integral role ensuring a safe and positive environment, conducting assessments, and implementing effective interventions.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Proven experience in school-based psychological services Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies Ability to effectively consult with teachers, administrators, and parents Excellent verbal and written communication skills Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Familiarity with state and federal educational guidelines Compassion, professionalism, and adaptability Bilingual abilities are a plus, though not required
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Design, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students Collaborate with teachers to develop and apply behavior management and intervention strategies Deliver professional development and support to staff Maintain accurate records and documentation according to district and legal standards Communicate regularly with families to foster home-school partnerships Stay current with best practices in school psychology and continue professional development As a valued professional in this contract position, youll enjoy a collaborative work environment and the chance to make a real impact in the lives of students and their communities.
