Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact as an onsite School Psychologist in a dynamic school environment located near Hampton, VA. This full-time contract opportunity runs from now through the end of June 2027, providing plenty of time to build meaningful relationships and make a positive difference in the lives of students, staff, and families.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Current School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred Excellent skills in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with educators Strong interpersonal abilities, including communication with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support Passion for advocating for diverse learners and fostering inclusive educational environments

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students Develop and implement intervention and support strategies in collaboration with educators Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to 504/RTI plans Provide short-term counseling and crisis support to students as needed Serve as a resource for teachers and families regarding learning, behavior, and mental health concerns Help create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere and address barriers to student success Imagine influencing educational outcomes and student well-being each day, while working alongside a committed, caring team.
