Qualifications:

Current RN licensure with active status Demonstrated experience working as a Legal Nurse Consultant Strong background in implemention and management of assistive technology solutions in school or healthcare settings Solid understanding of accessibility laws, guidelines, and best practices Excellent communication, documentation, and teaching abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, administrators, and families Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Primary Responsibilities:

Evaluate student needs and recommend appropriate assistive technology tools and resources to enhance access and learning Train staff, students, and families in the use and maintenance of assistive devices and software Provide legal nurse consulting services, including medical record review and case analyses within an educational framework Maintain accurate, confidential documentation Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to intervention planning Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations Act as a resource and advocate for accessible learning environments What to
