Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in Orting, WA, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers 37 hours per week, starting in late August 2026 through mid-June 2027. The role is 100% in person, providing a collaborative environment to make a direct impact on student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families. Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to support students' social-emotional well-being. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote a positive school climate and address behavioral concerns. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with compliance regarding special education regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure. Experience working in K-12 educational settings. Strong knowledge of assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and counseling techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

37 hours per week, late August 2026 to mid-June 2027
Position Type:
