Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will be vital in delivering top-tier automotive service that keeps our customers confidently on the road. Whether working on diesel engines, transmissions, or electrical systems, you'll be at the forefront of automotive innovation and repair excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and powertrain components. Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and wheel balancing to optimize vehicle performance. Repair and replace auto body parts as needed, utilizing welding and auto estimating skills to restore vehicle integrity. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic safety features to ensure modern vehicle safety standards are met. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and estimates. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, mechanical systems, and electrical components. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is highly desirable. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and build trust with clients. Valid technical certifications related to automotive repair; ASE certification is advantageous. $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
