Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver advanced care as a Radiation Therapist, bringing your expertise to a dynamic clinical environment. In this contract role, you will play an integral part in the treatment process, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to provide safe, compassionate care for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract position; schedule to be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program. Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT). Valid state license (or eligibility to obtain). Proven experience operating radiation therapy equipment and following treatment plans. Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions to patients. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients in accordance with physician orders and treatment plans. Perform daily equipment checks and adhere to established safety protocols. Accurately position patients and operate advanced radiation therapy machinery. Monitor patients during procedures to ensure comfort and safety. Collaborate with oncology teams to achieve optimal treatment outcomes. Keep thorough, confidential records of treatment sessions and responses. Stay current with evolving best practices and technologies in radiation therapy.
