Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to make a difference as a Physical Therapist supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year! This is a contract, full-time position located in a welcoming community near the scenic Mount Lemmon area, where you'll find both professional fulfillment and the natural beauty of Arizona just outside your door. Qualifications/Experience:
Active and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain one) Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Compassion and enthusiasm for empowering children and adolescents
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs) Work alongside special education teams, educators, and caregivers to ensure integrated support Conduct assessments and develop appropriate intervention strategies Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment Stay current with best practices in school-based physical therapy
