Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Seeking an experienced physical therapist for an impactful role within an outpatient hospital therapy setting. This contract position calls for compassionate, skilled professionals who excel in patient evaluation, dynamic treatment planning, and therapy program implementation, working closely with patients, medical staff, and families. Your clinical expertise will help restore function and promote safe, effective return to daily and community activities.

Qualifications:
Valid physical therapy license in good standing, meeting all state requirements Experience with hospital-based therapy preferred; outpatient background a plus Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills and the ability to develop tailored treatment plans Understanding of compliance, confidentiality, and professional standards Strong interpersonal skills, able to serve as an educator and mentor to patients, families, and team members Commitment to patient and employee safety, in compliance with workplace safety guidelines Up-to-date on continuing education and professional development expectations
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans Document medical records clearly and accurately, in line with clinic and regulatory guidelines Delegate and direct therapy services for assigned caseload, ensuring functional and timely progress toward discharge Design therapeutic programs for effective return to community participation Collaborate productively within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes Educate and mentor patients, their families, students, and colleagues Promote a culture of safety in all aspects of work, proactively addressing any hazards or risks Participate in ongoing professional growth, contributing to a positive, results-focused work environment Adhere to clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality This position offers an opportunity to deliver excellent care in a professional, patient-centered environment committed to both patient and employee well-being.
