Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year as a full-time Occupational Therapist. This opportunity is located near the scenic Mount Lemmon area, offering a chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young adults within a supportive school setting.
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Arizona Prior experience working as an OT in a school-based environment preferred Solid understanding of IEP process and ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Compassionate approach and commitment to helping each student achieve their highest potential
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' needs relating to academic performance, daily living, and participation in school activities Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy programs tailored to students' IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to create optimal learning and development environments Document treatment progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide consultation and training for educational staff to support classroom accommodations and modifications This full-time contract assignment presents the chance to build impactful relationships with students and educational staff while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Mount Lemmon.
