The ideal candidate, a graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program, will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of radiation oncologists, working to support patients and families during an important part of their cancer care journey. Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Monitor and assess patient reactions during treatment sessions
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Educate patients on treatment procedures and potential side effects
• Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Experience
• Proficiency in radiation therapy techniques
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging
• Knowledge of acute care procedures and critical care environments
• Familiarity with CT scans, mammography, and medical terminology is advantageous
