Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Seeking a dedicated professional with experience in Radiation Therapy for an opportunity supporting a busy clinical environment. This contract role involves delivering exceptional care using advanced medical technology in a patient-centered setting. The assignment spans 13 weeks with a full-time, weekday schedule, allowing for consistent work-life balance.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Day shifts, 5x8 hour shifts per week 40 hours weekly
Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments to approximately 22-24 patients daily, ensuring accurate delivery and adherence to provider-prescribed protocols. Operate and maintain Varian Truebeam and GE Discovery equipment, guaranteeing patient and staff safety throughout all procedures. Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and nurses as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on high-quality oncology care. Educate patients about procedures, respond to questions, and provide support before, during, and after therapy. Monitor patient responses, document progress, and report changes or concerns to appropriate clinical staff. Follow established safety guidelines and facility policies to maintain a secure treatment environment.
Qualifications:
Current certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist. Demonstrated experience with Varian Truebeam and GE Discovery systems preferred. Proven ability to manage a busy therapy schedule while maintaining compassionate patient care. Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborative team-based practice.
