1 Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with NM state license and 2+ years of experience for a Level III trauma center's Cancer Treatment Center, requiring VARIAN TruBeam system experience. Details Work in the Cancer Treatment Center of a Level III trauma center Radiation Oncology specialty treating geriatric and adult patients Common diagnosis and treatment focus is cancer Uses Varian Edge LINAC and TruBeam system equipment Uses Cerner for electronic medical records Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM No weekend shifts, call, or floating requirements 36-40 guaranteed weekly hours Requirements NM state license required if applicable ARRT (T) certification required BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist required Education from an accredited radiation therapy program required Hands-on experience with VARIAN TruBeam system required General Radiation Therapist training required Additional Information Deliver radiation therapy treatments to geriatric and adult oncology patients Work under the supervision of the Interim Lead Therapist Facility is a 198-bed, Level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites Hospital provides comprehensive services including cancer, cardiac, and imaging care
