Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare career by providing essential treatments for patients as a radiation therapist. Working on a contract basis, you will play a key role in supporting patient care, delivering safe and effective radiation therapy under the guidance of clinical protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients according to physician instructions Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety standards are met Prepare patients for procedures, explaining treatment plans, and answering questions to support patient comfort and understanding Record treatment details and monitor patient responses, reporting any adverse effects or concerns to the oncology team Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements and safety procedures Contribute to a supportive environment for patients and colleagues
Qualifications:
Registered or certified as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent) Demonstrated experience with modern radiation therapy equipment and procedures In-depth understanding of radiation safety and regulatory requirements Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a focused, professional healthcare setting where your expertise directly contributes to patient wellbeing.
