1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT certification and TrueBeam/Aria Varian experience (license required if applicable). Details Hospital-based Oncology Radiation Therapy department Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, full-time 13-week assignment length No weekend requirement No on-call requirement Uses TrueBeam machine and Aria/Varian systems Requirements ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required Current BLS certification via AHA required MRT and RRT license required in state of employment (license required if applicable) Associate Degree required 2-5 years of clinical experience preferred TrueBeam machine experience required Aria/Varian system experience required Experience with specialized procedures including SRS, IGRT, IMRT, and SPRT required IMRT experience preferred LDR/HDR experience preferred Additional Information Perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving X-rays and radioactive substances Operate specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by physician Maintain treatment records and prepare operational reports Maintain, store, and order supplies and equipment Provide quality patient care based on prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, and developmental needs Administer prescribed course of Radiation Therapy 50-mile radius rule applies for local candidate consideration Returning employees who previously worked at any facility within the health system must be separated for 6 months prior to being considered for a travel assignment
