Soliant is now staffing Radiation Therapist for a health center in McMinnville, Oregon ! This position is a day shift available for 13 weeks, with a requirement to work 40 hours per week. Shift/Qualification Requirements Shift:
Day Shift, 40 hours/wk. No weekends or holidays. Weekly Pay- $2,460-2,600 weekly based on 40 hours (Skillsets and work experience will determine exact gross amount)
Contract Length:
13 weeks.
Required Certificates:
ARRT, BLS
through
AHA. ARRT. OR
State License required. 2+ Years of experience required. Local candidates are accepted for this position. Equipment - Varian TrueBeam, Aria. Floating may be required to sister facilities. Specialty Overview As a radiation therapist, candidates work under an oncologist as part of a medical team to prepare patients and administer radiation treatments for cancer and some other conditions. They take precise measurements of patients for treatment and may fit them with specialized equipment to be used during sessions. During treatment, they will monitor the patient's responses, including side effects, and may adjust the schedule or doses of radiation accordingly.
