Monday•Friday | 8:00 AM•4:30 PM Job Description We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Philadelphia, PA . The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent radiation therapy experience and be committed to delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced oncology environment. Responsibilities Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to physician directives. Position patients accurately and safely for treatment procedures. Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment. Review treatment plans and verify patient information prior to treatment. Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any concerns or complications. Document treatment sessions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental policies. Perform routine quality assurance and equipment checks as required. Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support throughout the treatment process. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Therapist experience. Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy [ARRT(T)]•Required. Current state licensure (if applicable). Current BLS certification (preferred if required by facility). Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, safety protocols, and oncology patient care. Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
