1 Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT (T) certification and 2-3+ years of experience for an adult outpatient radiation oncology setting. Details Adult outpatient work setting Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Uses ARIA and TrueBeam treatment units Vision RT equipment used Performs external beam therapy and IMRT Utilizes CBCT/kV/mV imaging and respiratory gating techniques Uses Varis/Vision/ARIA record and verify systems Requirements ARRT (T) certification required Current BLS certification required Graduate of an accredited radiology program Minimum of 2 years of experience required, 3+ years strongly preferred Experience with beam modifying and positioning techniques Knowledge of radiation safety practices Billing knowledge for treatment types and devices preferred License required if applicable Additional Information Responsibilities include external beam therapy delivery and treatment planning support Travel experience highly preferred Facility conducts a mandatory onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation Candidates should avoid substances that could result in a positive drug screen after clearance, including CBD products Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted for this position
