You'll be an integral part of the oncology team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist (RTT) Proficiency with Varian radiotherapy equipment and Aria record-and-verify system Thorough understanding of radiation safety protocols and clinical procedures Previous experience in a busy oncology or radiation therapy setting preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Administer high-quality radiation therapy treatments according to physicians' orders and treatment plans Operate Varian linear accelerators and manage patient records using Aria software Monitor patient condition during treatments, providing support and reporting any concerns to physicians or dosimetrists Prepare and position patients, ensuring accurate delivery of prescribed doses Maintain equipment and adhere to rigorous radiation safety and cleanliness standards Document procedures and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards This is an opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
