The radiation oncology department houses a state-of-the-art Varian™ TrueBeam™ Linear Accelerator and a 4D-capable CT scanner. Together, these allow for the provision of advanced radiation therapy techniques including:
Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT)Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)Stereotactic Radio Surgery (SRS)Motion Management (Gated treatment and deep inspiration breath hold)In this role you will get to:
Performs a variety of technical procedures involving the use of high-energy radiation producing equipment. Responsible for administering, simulating and recording radiation treatments to patients of all ages as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist while maintaining confidentiality. Provides daily patient contact for monitoring the effects of radiation.
