This opportunity is well-suited for a professional with experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-ray Technician eager to contribute their expertise within a collaborative healthcare environment. The position is offered on a contract basis, offering the chance to provide essential imaging services and assist clinical teams in diagnosing and treating patients.
Key Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (or equivalent credential) Active state license to practice as a Radiology Tech/X-ray Tech Previous experience in a clinical or hospital radiology department Proficient in the operation of radiographic and imaging equipment Strong attention to patient safety and infection control procedures Ability to accurately follow imaging protocols and physician instructions Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented, with solid organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
Core Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of radiologic and X-ray procedures as ordered by providers Properly position patients and set equipment to produce clear, diagnostic-quality images Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation in compliance with policies and regulations Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during examinations Collaborate closely with other clinical staff to deliver seamless patient care Safeguard and maintain all radiology equipment and promptly report any issues Adhere to radiation safety standards and best practices at all times Working as part of a dedicated healthcare team, you'll play a crucial role helping clinicians deliver optimal care through precise diagnostic imaging.
