MRI Technologist responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with radiologists and other medical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures as ordered, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses. Assist patients in preparing for MRI exams, explaining the procedure and addressing concerns. Monitor patients during scans to ensure safety and comfort. Operate MRI equipment, maintaining proper function and troubleshooting as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of exams. Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation protocols. Position patients for optimal image capture. Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to discuss imaging results. Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a positive experience and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field. Certification in MRI through
ARRT-MRI.
State licensure in Arizona as a Radiologic Technologist. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and equipment operation. Excellent communication and patient care skills.
