•We are seeking a qualified CT Technician to join a clinical travel healthcare team Pay rate: $75/hr

Job Location:

Bakersfield, CA 93306

Shift:

4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)

Shift Note:

Primarily PM shifts with some overnight shifts; weekends and holidays may be required

Duration of Contract:

12 Weeks + Extendable Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs

Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Graduate of a two-year Radiologic Technology program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association. Current California Department of Health Services certification as a Radiologic Technologist. Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT) . ARRT ID required. Successful completion of a formal Computed Tomography (CT) training program (minimum one year) or equivalent CT experience. Candidates without a current BLS card must obtain certification within 60 days of employment . Previous acute care hospital experience. Experience working with patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience performing CT examinations and imaging procedures. Knowledge of CT equipment operation, imaging techniques, and patient positioning. Understanding of human anatomy and physiology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Knowledge of radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to administer and assist with contrast procedures as directed by physicians. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience maintaining accurate patient records and documentation. Strong communication and patient-care skills. Ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff. Current CPR and first-aid competency.
