Multi-Modality Specialist Job Summary Performs diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple medical imaging modalities according to established protocols and physician orders. Operates imaging equipment safely and effectively, provides patient care, and supports the efficient operation of the medical imaging department. Education & Experience Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent — Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent — Preferred Three years of technical experience — Preferred ### Licenses & Certifications Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice — Required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification — Required ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certification — Required Current certification in an advanced imaging modality such as CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET — Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — Required ### Key Responsibilities Performs diagnostic imaging examinations across multiple modalities according to established protocols. Competently performs at least three imaging modalities as required by the department. Operates and maintains imaging equipment safely and effectively. Prepares and positions patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety. Performs mobile imaging examinations as assigned. Prepares and administers contrast agents according to established procedures and safety protocols. Transfers and transports patients safely using appropriate equipment and techniques. Performs required equipment, safety, and quality control checks. Maintains accurate patient and procedure documentation.
