In this contract position, you will utilize advanced imaging technology to produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs, providing critical support to physicians and ensuring the well-being of those under your care.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate X-ray equipment to capture accurate, high-resolution images for physician review. Position patients appropriately to ensure clinical accuracy and minimize radiation exposure. Verify patient identity and review medical histories to optimize imaging results. Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of imaging procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care. Follow all hospital and regulatory safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment. Perform regular equipment checks and report malfunctions or concerns as needed.
Requirements:
Valid and current certification as a Radiologic Technologist. Demonstrated experience operating X-ray equipment in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and best practices. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members. Attention to detail with a commitment to patient comfort and privacy.
