Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Embark on an impactful role delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging as an experienced Ultrasound Technologist. This contract position is ideal for professionals skilled in general ultrasound procedures and committed to excellent patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS or equivalent sonography certification (required) Proficiency in performing general ultrasound exams and image acquisition Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer Strong knowledge of safety and compliance standards in medical imaging Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Schedule and shift details provided during interview/placement process Contract role with opportunity for renewal based on facility needs and performance
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures according to physician orders Ensure correct patient identification and maintain strict adherence to privacy/confidentiality protocols Accurately document imaging findings and maintain detailed patient records in the electronic medical record system Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring it remains sanitized and in optimal working order Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address concerns, ensuring their comfort and cooperation Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results
