Duties Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate X-ray equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, adhering to all safety protocols and radiation guidelines. Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures, including medication administration, specimen collection, and vital signs measurement. Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, imaging results, and procedural notes within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Support clinical workflows by managing patient intake, updating medical histories, and assisting with triage in outpatient or inpatient settings. Ensure proper sterilization of equipment and adherence to infection control standards. Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and basic life support (BLS) techniques. Assist with patient education on procedures and post-care instructions while providing compassionate service. Prior experience working as an X-Ray Technician or Medical Assistant in urgent care settings is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with X-ray imaging technology across outpatient clinics. Knowledge of dermatology procedures, medical-surgical environments, geriatrics care, or internal medicine an pediatrics is advantageous. Demonstrated competence in using EHR systems for documentation and ICD coding for billing purposes is required. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory; additional certifications such as CPR or radiologic technologist licenses are a plus.
