Job Description

Category Imaging - PET/CT Job Type Contract Take on a vital role in supporting advanced diagnostic imaging as a PET/CT Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This 13-week contract opportunity offers the chance to work with cutting-edge Siemens Trinion equipment in a collaborative medical environment.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, dayshift hours
Qualifications:
Active California Radiology License required Certification with ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB Demonstrated experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or PET Tech, preferably with PET/CT modalities Proficiency with Siemens Trinion scanners and modular uptake rooms is a plus In-depth knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiopharmaceutical preparation, and safe handling protocols Ability to work independently while adhering to clinical procedures and safety standards Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure positive patient experiences
Responsibilities:
Operate PET/CT imaging equipment, including a 3 uptake room modular with a Siemens Trinion scanner, to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve accurate diagnostic outcomes Document imaging results, maintain records, and uphold confidentiality standards Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with state and federal regulations
