We clean, test, and refurbish equipment, then list and ship it. About the Team We're a small crew. Nobody is expected to know everything on day one, and asking questions is part of how the work gets done here. We're looking for someone who is easy to work with, open to feedback, and comfortable speaking up when something isn't clear. The Job in One Sentence You'll spend most of your day cleaning used VR headsets and controllers, then powering them on and running them through our test checklist to confirm everything works before they go up for sale. Who This Role Is Great For Someone friendly and approachable who is comfortable asking for help when they need it Open to learning and okay with saying "I don't know this yet" Interested in electronics, gaming, or VR, even if you've never put on a headset Someone who wants to build a real skill, not just clock in Detail-oriented and patient with hands-on work What You'll Do Clean and sanitize used VR headsets, controllers, straps, and accessories Power on and test equipment using our checklists: displays, tracking, controllers, audio, buttons, batteries Note what works, what doesn't, and grade condition Log items into inventory Photograph products for online listings Pack orders for shipment What You'll Learn How to properly clean and sanitize electronics without damaging them How to test VR hardware and spot common faults How VR headsets work and what goes wrong with them How to grade used electronics for resale Growth Path Once you're consistent on cleaning and testing, we train you on: Light electronics repair (replacing straps, cushions, cables, then more) Deeper diagnostics Helping decide what's worth fixing and what isn't More technical work opens up as you complete probation. Qualifications No experience required. We train you. Communicates clearly and asks questions when something isn't clear Careful and detail-oriented, even on repetitive tasks Comfortable doing thorough cleaning work every day Reliable and punctual Able to handle items typically under 15 lbs, occasionally boxes up to 40 lbs with help Able to pass a reference check Schedule Monday to Thursday, 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM Fridays off 26 paid hours per week Two paid 10-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute meal break Benefits Weekly pay Paid sick leave (California compliant) Consistent 4-day schedule Hands-on training and skill development Employee discount after probation Work Environment Small office workspace, not a retail store.
