Pay:
$60•70/hour Position Summary A prominent hospital in Los Alamitos is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a temporary inpatient assignment. Under the direction of the CT Supervisor, the CT Technologist will perform advanced CT imaging procedures while ensuring high-quality diagnostic images, patient safety, and excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized CT procedures, including CT angiography, arthrograms, myelograms, and other advanced imaging studies. Monitor patients, imaging equipment, and procedures to ensure safety and optimal image quality. Set imaging parameters according to established protocols and physician orders. Properly position and prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist with patient transportation as needed. Follow radiation-safety practices, including ALARA principles and appropriate shielding. Assist with special procedures and interventional radiography within the scope of practice. Maintain a sterile environment and follow appropriate PPE and infection-control procedures. Process and archive images accurately and complete RIS/EMR documentation in a timely manner. Provide support and instruction to CT students, residents, and other staff as needed. Required Qualifications Current CRT (California Radiologic Technologist) certification/license Current ARRT(R) certification Current ARRT(CT) certification Current BLS certification Fluoroscopy certification/license Venipuncture certification or demonstrated competency Preferred Qualification Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program This is a temporary assignment running from September 14, 2026 through December 12, 2026.
Pay:
